Roundhay Garden Scene, that is a 2.11seconds long short film, was filmed in Leeds, England in 1988, by Louis Le Prince, a French inventor. 


Workers Leaving the Lumière Factory 1895, is often credited as the first publicly exhibited movie. This short film by the Lumière brothers in France, was part of a program showcasing their invention, the Cinématographe.
