About

London Director Awards is film festival with live screenings in London, in United Kingdom. Our mission and goal is to discover and promote talented directors from all over the world and present them to public and distributors.

An international independent jury works at the festival, composed of judges from the England, Ireland, Marocco, Brazil, Japan, Australia and USA.

Previous winners of our festival are well-know directors such as Plum Stupple-Harris (United Kingdom), John Dada (France), George O'Reilly (United Kingdom), Ewan McIntosh (United Kingdom), Imre Mazlo (Hungary), Stefan Köhler Pellegrini (Denmark), Karen Liebau McPherson (Australia), Adam King (United Kingdom), Bo Yao (China), Anouk Witkowska Hiffler (United Kingdom), Liam Flynn (Ireland) and others.

During the first and second year, we registered more than 1,000 projects, some of them were premiered at the Festival de Cannes, the Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival or have been awarded and nominated for ACADEMY AWARDS, GOLDEN GLOBES, and BAFTA.

The selected best super short film, short film and feature film will be screened February 2024 in Close-Up Cinema, London. We are looking forward to see you in London, city with a stunning culture and amazing nightlife.

Cash prizes of $300 will be awarded to winners during the LIVE SCREENING.

Rules & Terms

1. If the film is not in English, it must have English subtitles.
2. All entry fees are non-refundable.
3. Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted.
4. The decision of the festival selection committee is final.
5. Films that are submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third Parties. Contestants agree that they have obtained all required copyright permissions regarding music, sound & images. Etc presented in their film.
6. The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
7. The organizers have the right to use trailers or still photos on public social networks to promote your project and our festival.
8. By submitting the project, you agree that our partner film festivals will be able to send you an offer to submit your projects.
