From July 21 to 24, 2024, Sacramento it'll be the city of film. We will have a festival for all tastes, with different themes, in different formats. There will be cinema and web series, but there will also be room for music and scripts. All this in the SACRAMENTO UNDERGROUND FILM & ARTS FESTIVAL.
From the city of Sacramento we want to welcome all participants and fans to this new edition of SACRAMENTO UNDERGROUND FILM & ARTS FESTIVAL.
Again this year, the Festival has the support and collaboration of private companies, individuals and institutions that, altruistically, have been involved in the organization to make this eighth edition a reality.

The Sacramento Underground Film & Arts Festival will take place in Sacramento from July 21 to 24, 2024

1. There are no restrictions on themes and topics.

2. All films must be spoken in English or must include English subtitles.

3. Submission Deadline
Submissions will be accepted from October 24, 2023.
The November deadline is November 20, 2023.
The December deadline is December 20, 2023.
The January deadline is January 20th, 2024
The February deadline is February 20. 2024
The March deadline is March 20. 2024
The April deadline is April 20. 2024
The May deadline is May 20. 2024
The June deadline is June 17. 2024
The July deadline is July 10. 2024
4. Submission Format
Films must be submitted via Film Freeway.

5. In the case of sending the link to download the film by e-mail, the link must remain active until September 24, 2024

9. Art schools, film schools, production companies, film institutions, may submit films to the competition with a discount. Write to festival for more information.

10. Selection of Films
SUFAF endeavors to complete all selection procedures on July 16, 2023 and inform all submitting parties, in writing, if their film has been successful or not after that time.

11. The films qualified to the contests will be evaluated by three independent, professional Jury established by the organizer.

12. SUFAF aspires to provide the best quality projection possible but will not be held liable for any failure in the technical quality of the projection, nor will fees be refunded in any such case.
No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after its selection.
