An estranged, unearthly being finds himself encaged in a capitalist world which he is indoctrinated into by a jaded office worker. Cyclical occurrences culminating in the workplace, evolve and morph into a surreal, diaphanous reality. A shift of perception and societal roles takes place on an abandoned stage in a city's center.

Director's Biography
Sari Hoke grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She started training in Ballet at Centennial Youth Ballet and had the opportunity to dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy with Boston Ballet Soloist, Joel Prouty, before attending highschool at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts on scholarship. Sari has attended multiple ballet and contemporary dance workshops across the country and abroad, including Joffrey Midwest and Portland Festival Ballet, under the late John Magnus, UNCSA, Corella Ballet in Segovia, Spain, Nashville Ballet, New Dialect, Hedwig Dances, and Sidra Bell Dance NY. Sari danced professionally with PDX Contemporary Ballet in Portland, OR from 2015 to 2018, performing lead parts in choreography by Briley Neugbauer, Melissa Franzoza, Lindsey Matheis, Christopher Peddecord, Alicia Cutaia, Keira Brinkley, Margaret Wiss, Matthew Cichon, M’Lis Stevenson Quinnly, Joanna Hardy, and Micah Chermack. In her first season, Sari choreographed a trio on the company, to Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright,” performed work at Seattle’s Raw Artists, and at PDX Barter Market. Sari was a freelance artist her last year in Portland, and began directing and performing in dance films with Influx Collective. Her short film, “The Past Is a Grotesque Animal” was screened at DownRight Productions’ “Amorphous” in February ‘18 and she choreographed and performed a duet with Matthew Cichon at the Galaxy Dance Festival in August ‘18. Sari aspires to continue making dance films and start her BFA in Contemporary Dance at Concordia University, Montreal. She is also a singer, songwriter and has played in bands as well as solo in Nashville.
