This story is composed by combining a few moments into a structure. Dona, a college girl belonging from an aristocratic family falls in love with his college senior Somudro who is a most volatile, bohemian character. They spend a lot of time wandering around different parts of the city. Somudro a careless boy who used to use an old keypad phone and continually tells lie to Dona. As Dona is a very beautiful and charming lady Somudro don’t want to come too close to his lover as Somudro knows his own reality and fate. Somudro wants to make Dona feel happy and financially secured. The financial security is more necessary to live one’s life rather not leading a poetic and magical life. Thus when Somudro comes to know that Dona’s parents are going to arrange her marriage with a secured stable man Somudro disappears unconditionally.
This story has another sub plot where it is portrayed by an another couple who are resembling Somudro and Dona in their imaginary scape as a special entity where everything is so magical and poetic than reality. These two plots are distinguished by a dialogue portion and a song sequence. These songs become part of the narrative where it expresses it’s dream like mood of the characters. This ornamentation tells a different story of the same lovers which declines in it’s termination.

Director's Biography
Sayantan Bose is an independent Film Maker, Script Writer, Cinematographer and Editor. He has completed his graduation in English Honours from Calcutta University, India and post graduation in English literature from Burdwan University. He has directed 4 short films which are officialy selected in some of international film festivals. 'Tobo Uposonghar'- A Tale of Termination is the debut feature film which is completed on 16th January, 2021.
Director's Statement
Tobo Uposonghar is a journey of moments cherished by the lovers. It covers up one year season cycling of monsoon in India. We spend a long period of time with our loved ones but only some of our special moments get remembered in times. This film is the collection of those special moments which has a great impact in their life and how the moments are impactful in the course of life as well as the story. It is a journey through the inner conflicts and confrontations of the characters inner psyche. Everything in this world is a divine manifestation of God. As many people, many relationships come and fade out because this is the way of life. But the places we visit remain same as it is. Only time flows, moment passes but this world and nature keep constant as all of this may called a play of God.
Having no sponsorships and producers I Sayantan Bose decided to produce the film alone from my earnings of private tutions. What I have earned for 3 years all I put in the making of the film. Thus it took about two and half years to make.
