When the pandemic struck our country, jeepney drivers were hit hard because the government forbade them to pass and make a living believing that Covid-19 could easily be passed on to people or passengers. As a result, many of them were forced to beg on the road to buy food for their families. Many of them have been evicted from their rented houses so many of them have already settled in their jeeps. This film is dedicated to jeepney drivers who still prefer to be dignified than to do anything illegal. It is a call to the government to immediately think of a way to help them.
Due to extreme sadness and depression, there are those who lead to suicide and some are forced to sell their body parts just to be able to buy food for their family's hungry stomach. As a fellow Filipino, I urge everyone to help each other and think of ways on how we can help our fellow Filipinos who are now facing the great challenges of life. This is the right time for us to help each other out and show our concern for them. We can overcome this pandemic if we work together to suggest ways on how we can make life easier for each other. Let us pray for the hundreds of thousands of jeepney drivers throughout the Philippines. Long live!

Director's Biography

Each of us has a dream, not only for ourselves but also for other people, family, and country. We take different paths with various trials to go through and because of our own strategy, diligence, and trust in the Lord, we achieve the desired success. Who would have thought that the former tricycle driver is now a head teacher?

At an early age, he was conscious of the importance of education. He is one of those who believe this is the way to get a person out of poverty and achieve his dreams. It was not easy for him to graduate. The time came when his mother told him to just ride the tricycle because he could no longer study it. But his grip on the dream became even stronger, he made it an inspiration to continue what he had started.

He did not budge from what most people were saying. The words - "you cannot do that", laid the foundation for where he is today.

As his mother said, he continued riding the tricycle until the time came for him to pass the entrance exam of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa Manila. His heart was revived and the aspiration to continue his studies was ignited. In fact, he was a dean's lister and later joined the presidential list, earned a scholarship, and became active in the school theater. He did not waste any opportunity and proved to the majority what he could do and how far his dreams would take him. His efforts bore fruit when he graduated from college.

His heart is close to everyone, be it students, co-workers, neighbors, or friends. He is dependable in everything because of his overflowing talent. In fact, he is a teacher, actor, storyteller, director, playwright, songwriter, and interviewer at national and regional workshops and an active community leader.

Every time he goes up on stage, even before he speaks, he gets the attention of the audience. His stories and speeches are imprinted on the minds and hearts of anyone who listens.

His contagious smile never disappears wherever you meet him, a sign of his positiveness in life. He is known for being organized and ready for any task assigned to him. He does it with a heart, he makes sure it is polished and perfect so people will admire him that way.
Jolly and sometimes playful, disciplined, organized, hardworking and dedicated at all times.

Like those successful people in society, he never forgot to share his knowledge with the masses.

He formed a theater group known as Tanghalang Banyuhay. It is not just a group, but a family that will help you discover your talents and show them to the world.

During the pandemic he still did not stop to inspire everyone. He has wonderfully used modern technology to deliver inspiration, joy, and lessons. He is now a vlogger and can watch his creations on You Tube Channel Sir Alo Tv.

He served as Head of the Department of Filipino at Mapulang Lupa National High School from 2011 to the present and has taught as a Part Time Lecturer at the

These are just a few of his achievements that will prove his efforts, perseverance, and dream.

He is Mr. Roderick O. Alo, one of the proofs that your dreams are most likely to be achieved if you continue to strive, persevere, pray, and sometimes turn a deaf ear to what others are saying. He proved that the state of life is not based on your goals.

Like him, the day will come when your efforts will bear fruit. Just trust yourself. Don't be shy to shout and show the world your dreams!
