I want to create films that make people laugh and make them think.

Born 1976. in Zagreb, Croatia. Started music education in 1987. playing clarinet. Finished both high school and music high school in 1991. During high school becomes involved with jazz music and composition and writes several pieces for piano, clarinet and piano, violin and piano, string quartets and a few orchestral works.

Enters Music Academy in Zagreb in 1994., music theory department, and gets a BA in 1999., involving in a military service afterwards. During the study, plays jazz continuously and with several friends forms Il Gruppo delle Azioni Progressive (G.A.P. Quartet), writing also original compositions for the band; also works with Lapsus teatar playing stage music. At the end of the study, becomes interested in film making and attends film courses lead by Ognjen Sviličić, Staša Čelan and late Vedran Šamanović at Kino klub Zagreb. In year 2000. enrolls entering exam for film and TV directing at Akademija dramskih umjetnosti where he passes the first round and fails at second.

In the same year starts with music teaching job. After meeting Sviličić again (around 2015.) at aikido training, who encourages him to start working on scripts and film, he starts writing a script that will soon become "Balkan Trinity". As a musician (saxophone and clarinet player), he worked with Apokalipso band, Tom Benzon & The Cool Shakes, Let 3 and Gelato Sisters. Currently works with Showtime band. With them he appeared in a new Gabriele Salvatores film “Volare" which premiered in 2019.
