Director's Biography
Shih Hung Wu was born in Taiwan. He is an illustrator, film director, and cartoonist.
He has been concerned about local culture, history and family relations, and has produced animation content for many Taiwanese documentaries and children's animation series. His works have won many Taiwan and international awards.
Wu founded Weeler studio in 2015. This is a studio that promotes Taiwan’s aesthetic education and produces many short documentaries about Taiwan’s education.
Director's Statement
Life is like the clothes in rainy days. Even after drying for several days, there is still a dull dampness. When there is no other clothes to wear, you can only learn to live with the musty smell.
Life is incredible when watching children grow. But after becoming a father, I often feel confused about the changing of identities. I did not expect to endure those real life and mental stress, and the speed of solving problems is far behind the problems to be solved. When facing the problem of raising next generation, how to adjust ourselves between the economic pressure and ideal life?
