Director's Statement
The feeling of helplessness and inadequacy that occupies one's mind can sometimes bring suicide into one's mind. Especially if this person has a father and a family to take care of, and if he has been crushed enough under these social roles, he may see suicide even more meaningful. At this point, “Don’t You Die” focuses on the world of a musician who is experiencing the uncertainty, feeling of fear and economic problems brought about by the pandemic. In the pandemic climate, the music and entertainment industry was almost left to its fate and could not find a way out. The movie “Don’t You Die” is getting its story from this reality, aims to keep these invisible suicides in a corner of the audience's memory.
