Ram wanted to get out of his shantytown. After a palmist tells him he's got good fortune and a sharp mind, Ram tries his luck in gambling to get out of the area. After losing everything, he spends his evening on a ghat where he meets a man Kishan who has recently lost his son. Ram watches the wealthy man wearing jewelry and tries his last luck at the gambling of life and death. Ram tries to convince Kishan how it's his fault that he lost his son and provokes him to commit suicide in order to get Kishan's Jewellery.

Director's Biography

Devanshu mishra is an Indian filmmaker who graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2020 and has worked on several short films that have won best prize at various College Festivals. In 2019, he directed a short film “Chitman” which won the best film prize in MOOD INDIGO Festival of IIT Mumbai and YUVAAN fest of Delhi Technical University.
