Director's Statement
When I read this screenplay I realized the opportunities it offered me as a Director to create so many moods and environments as the screenplay traveled from early 1920s to 2016 and from Bombay in India to Paris in France and to Killarney in the west coast of Ireland
I was excited to create visuals and images and match it with sounds that would take the viewers to these different worlds and yet keep them engrossed with the main story about the Ouija board and the characters whose lives were affected by it
I was extremely happy to find a script that dealt with human emotions above all else bringing together an unlikely couple in a sweet romance and an estranged father and daughter after years of distrust and turmoil
This film excited me very much during its production as well as post production and though it took me quite a while to get the film ready it has been a very interesting journey for me as a Director from France working across continents with actors from all over the world and to finally have the film ready for viewers to enjoy
