Director's Biography
Enthusiastic about cinema since childhood, Luiz Henrique has always been interested in documentaries. Because of this, he decided to study journalism at college. With the maturity acquired in the area, he started producing reports for a local newspaper and later working as an assistant director in several short films. Because of this, he began attending film school at Univille. In 2021, he recorded his debut short-film as a director, the documentary "Hinges of Paint", which is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
Director's Statement
Directing this documentary was very special to me. With a team composed entirely of film students, we seek to explore what is most personal in the concept of art, taking them into their thoughts together with abstract art. Registering several people connected with a single objective, but at the same time producing their own works and their personal desires, was certainly the right decision for my first film as a director.
