It is very loud, you can't film & sink sound with it, therefore I probably made this film 90% silent, the camera was so loud you couldn't hide the noise. These cameras were actually used by documentary filmmakers during WW2. After filming this short, the cameraman tried to sell me the camera for $100, but I didn't buy. I wish I had. Gotta call him, maybe he still has it and needs the money.
Thank you for reading this, I appreciate it, please enjoy the film. Don't watch it with little kids and pregnant women.

Director's Statement
"Home" is my very first fiction film that I made a long time ago, but re-edited it recently and christened it "Home". It's kind of dark and depressing, but that was my mood when I created this. It's not for everyone, dark Russian film making, I would say. It's been shot on original 35 mm film and edited on a real thousand pounds metal flatbed, using scissors and glue. It's exciting, you fell like a real filmmaker. Here is the flatbed that I used to edit this film: https://nofilmschool.com/2017/06/editing-on-a-flatbed https://www.pinterest.ca/stuwenschlag/steenbeck-flatbed-editing-machine/ Here's the Russian camera "Konvas" that I used.
