Archana Sen born and brought up in tribal state Jharkhand. Studied in Dayawati Modi Public school Jharkhand and finished 12th from KiiT international school. During school she learned Taekwondo and became a Black belt winning gold at district level and bronze at State level with state level referee certificate. She is also a horse rider and has played many sports like cricket, kabaddi, basket ball e.t.c. She then studied engineering from KiiT university of Bhubaneswar in electronics and tele communication. She always loved art. She took interest in film making and started studying at National Institute of Film and Fine Arts in Kolkata. She moved to Bengal for further study but because of the heritage of her state she has been always connected to the people and their culture. In her childhood days she has been growing up watching the people of her state performing CHHAU. From the deep connection with that art and eagerness to learn about them she decides to make a documentary on CHHAU
