Mandar Bhanage is basically a professional Dramatist from a city called Kolhapur in India. He works as an actor, director, producer and Lighting Designer too. He is the founder of his theatre group famously known as MB Theatre. His Production of the play 'Hamlet' has brought his Group and himself recognition. Shakespeare's Hamlet was translated by Shri Parshuram Deshpande from Pune and adapted for theatrical Performance by his MB Theatre. The role of Hamlet is played by Mandar himself and the onus of Production and Direction too is on his shoulder. He has won several awards in Acting in various plays and Lighting Designing for several Theatrical Productions. His flare for film making also. The short independent film in Hindi 'No Contact' is his another step into film making under his film production banner MB films in association with Red Lotus LLC (US). He has written and directed this film along with Screenplay. Also he plays the lead Character. He likes to takes challenges to do things which are out of the box yet relevant issues arising in our society. He likes to bring it to the audience in truthful ness abiding to the facts of nature and natural relationships. He loves to play and bring out Characters connecting psychological traits behind their individual different nature.
His film 'No Contact' brings this rich experience of Truthful behavior of Characters in any specific situation in their life connecting their past, present and future. This film brings forward a question and Challenges the Morality of Society which few can see it but Many don't..

Film has been shot Professionally on 4K with Professional actors and crew. Theme Music is catchy done by Neehar Dabade backed by a beautiful tune sung by Shibani Nagda from UK.
Initially The film is to participate in various Frontline Film festivals and then to OTT platforms.
Mandar and his MB films has planned to do 2 full length feature films, one in Marathi and another in Hindi language which is again written by himself and also be directed. He has passion to work in both mediums of Theatre and Cinema. Hence, he wishes to work parallel in both mediums. He has also written a book on Lighting the stage (using image projections), which is available for online reading. So he an actor, director, Writer, Producer, Lighting Designer and a creative person with strong support by Wife and children.
