Director's Biography
Diwakar Vijayakumar, born in Chennai, India in 2002, began exploring filmmaking using a vintage video camera. While pursuing a Visual Communication Course at Loyola College, he honed his cinematic skills. In 2023, he launched his career as a film director and scriptwriter, debuting with an Indie Virtual Reality film "Rambai Sonna Kadhai" . His portfolio includes over 10 short films, numerous documentaries, and three unofficial experimental feature films, earning recognition in global festivals. Diwakar showcased his talents in sound design, publicity design, expressive photography, and filmmaking while contributing to the Tamil feature film "Jailer" (2023).
Director's Statement
Our vision is to showcase our low-budget VR film. Our deliberate aim was to challenge the notion that high-quality technology and substantial investment are prerequisites for such ventures. Our vision centered on promoting filmmaking with accessible technology for all enthusiasts.
