On Feb. 21, 1945, the crew of the Royal Canadian Air Force Halifax bomber NP711 was returning from a bombing raid over Worms, Germany when it was shot down and crashed into a hillside near Leistadt, killing the entire crew. The cause of the crash is examined and the recovery of the wreckage 73 years later is documented.

Director's Biography
Rob Leicester Wagner is a journalist who has covered crime and legal affairs in Southern California, and later counter-terrorism, religion and regional politics in Saudi Arabia. He founded Flying Goose Productions, LLC in 2022 and produced his first documentary, Searching for Halifax NP711 the same year. His is currently engaged in his second documentary film based in Saudi Arabia.
