Director's Biography
Childhood: Born in a middle class family in Kolkata that belonged to the state of Bihar in India. His father had migrated to the city of Kolkata in the state of West Bengal in India and started his own business . Did my education in Kolkata. Young Days:
As a child was always interested and fascinated by films on the big screen, used to escape school with my childhood friend to watch films in the theatre saved all my pocket money to watch my favorite films again and again. As a young man had no clue of the film industry with a lot of struggle and roaming around made an entry into the Bengali film industry. Just a small reminder unlike today there was no internet then where I could get in touch with people related to his field of interest. Though coming from a well to do family started working with different drama groups, also worked in the lower levels of the Bengali film industry and made my way up swiftly due to creative talent and ended up working with good directors in the Bengali film industry, acted in two ofthem named Bhalobhasha Ki Aagey Bhuji Nei and Matribhoomi.
Director's Statement
My film is about human who dare to dream in all odd situation which life throw them into . I am a dreamer myself. And like the Characters in my film,my dreams are often bizarre and mad. For me, hard core reality is boring and predictable and I have always believed everyone must have some dream, if not a dream then at least a nightmare. Our dreams and aspirations may collide with the so called rules and laws of society, they may shock or charm the conventional beliefs but the power of a vision, the madness in an aspiration cannot be burnt to ashes. I believe only an impossible dream can lead us towards impossible achievements... the way however, can be devastating. My film conveys that .
