My film "The Reach" lands in New Zealand and wins the New Order Award - Highest Honour at the New Order Youth International Film Festival in Auckland, the Jury's highest recognition, with the following motivation:
"The New Order Award represents the festival’s highest recognition, celebrating exceptional filmmaking and the artistic vision, creativity, and commitment that define the spirit of NOYIFF. Among the many remarkable films and creative voices brought together from around the world this year, we are especially delighted to recognise your achievement with this distinction. For us, the meaning of the New Order Award extends beyond an individual accomplishment. It represents the belief upon which NOYIFF was founded: that cinema is constantly renewed by filmmakers who dare to imagine differently, explore new perspectives, and create meaningful connections through the stories they tell."
Thank you so much!
The film, starring Jana Balkan, is based on Stephen King's short story of the same name and features the song "Moonlight Motel" by Bruce Springsteen. It is produced and distributed by Nuove Officine Cinematografiche.
