The film is a deconstruction of important elements of an incident that took place in India in 2015
With a theme of absurdity, borrowed from the denouement, pieces of a whole are isolated and reconceived within the framework of social stratification.
The film begins with a reintroduction of a horse. Following this, a stone, a helmet and a human are defined. As the types and functions of individual elements are described in detail, what seemed ordinary becomes estranged. A forced alienation is created between the viewer and the elements; one being a human, creates further detachment. The four elements are finally integrated in a scene, that is an absurd manifestation of a deep-rooted social stratification. The Caste System is a class structure that has allowed upper castes to oppress and control lower or unprivileged castes for centuries. As the film compels the viewer to reinterpret the familiar, he is confronted with the entrenched and ubiquitous nature of Casteism, how it blends into society and rears its head in the most unexpected places.
