Director's Biography
Conceived idea and directed the commercial promo film of MADHABI BISCUIT, INDIAN POST, Ambulance of GNRC Hospital, Ambulance of GNRC Hospital, ASSAM TOURISM.
Directed documentary film on health hazard of Industrialization- HELLO, on Golden Thread-SONALI SUTAR SONALI BHABISWAT, on Traffic Pollution, on the prospect of Floriculture, on Sacred Groves of Meghalaya.
Production & direction short film -JOURNEY TO SUCCESS and VALUEs & VISIONS.
Acted in FAGUN- a mega tele serial of JONAK channel (Assamese), KANGKAN KI PRITHIBI- an Assamese TV series, SANGRAM-a Assamese Film.
As an Entrepreneur, Producer, Director, Writer and Actor he keeps walking with passion towards film and creativity for long time. Inspired with winning prizes by writing dramas he used to write stories, scripts for Documentaries, Short films, Departmental Promo Film, Tele films and Feature film too. Directing many Tele series, Documentaries, short film, TV commercial Promos and assisting many prominent film makers of Assam. Earlier his two stories were shortlisted in NFDC Screenplay Lab consecutively in 2015 & 2016 too. In his past journey, he did relevant courses on Acting, Direction and participated in few workshop and seminars.
Director's Statement
Punishing or forgiving the guilty is not enough to stop the crime. Rather, trying to eliminate or eradicate the crime is the core effort of the film. This film is an endeavour to bring to the light the deprivation of a comfortable and respectable life for many of our senior citizen, which is due to them. With the painful journey of Niro, who is in her Seventies, it has been tried, when she finds herself in an ill-fated situation, where she is forced to take decisions which will decide her very survival.
