As a result of its 20 years young lead actor, Malik Chris Russell, having in real life passed on to the other side during the week of "Dancing With Maleeah's" initial class presentation, this Freshman student film has dawned a classic "life emulating art" existential existence.
Coming out of the University of Southern California, which has arguably the World's greatest film school, Stephanie Bell’s "Maleeah" International Film Carnival of Bangalore 2022 BEST SCREENPLAY was the bases of the newly completed Black movie which ironically tells the story of an African American professional dancer striving to rekindle his artistic passion following the sudden death of his only love.
With this work having already won 10 pre-production Awards during its 1st months of Walker Entertainer Academy marketing, going forward, WEA will now always present "Dancing With Maleeah" as a memorial to the new Short's fallen star!
