Born on a balmy summer day 38 years ago, Prashastha Sagar's early years were steeped in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Kerala. From a tender age, he was drawn to the mesmerizing play of light and shadow that danced across the lush landscapes, setting the stage for his future artistic pursuits. His parents fondly recall his penchant for capturing fleeting moments with his trusty family camera, an early sign of his innate cinematic vision.In the heart of Kochi, where the aroma of spices mingles with the salty sea breeze, Prashastha Sagar's journey is just beginning, a journey destined to etch his name among the luminaries of the silver screen.
Director's Statement
I am honored to present this film as a platform to address and combat the critical issue of sexual harassment against women and advocate for the creation of safe environments that empower and protect them. This Short film aims to shed light on the pervasive challenges that women face, foster a collective consciousness, and inspire positive change in society.
In a world where women have consistently confronted harassment and felt unsafe, it is our responsibility as filmmakers to amplify their voices and stories. This short film delves deep into the experiences of women who have faced various forms of harassment, emphasizing the emotional and psychological toll it takes on them.
