A widowed father and his teenage son live in an old house surrounded by thick forest. Both share a passion for hunting and know that the survival in such a hostile context also depends on the handling of weapons. One morning the father says goodbye to his son who is preparing to go hunting alone. The boy despite his young age has some experience. The father cannot help feeling a lot of fear that something could happen to his little one. He gives him a few last tips before leaving and reminds him when he should return home. The boy goes into the forest with his shotgun. The father's head is filled with fears, memories and hallucinations that cause him terrible despair and paranoia. Now the father only clings to the hope that his son will return at the agreed time.
