Director's Biography
Saiyeed Shahjada Al Kareem an independent film maker. He has completed his graduate program from the Department of Television and Film Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has worked as assistant director in several shot and feature length films. Among those ‘Namhin Gotrohin’ (post production going on) is a government financed feature film. Now, He is working as the chief assistant director in the film ‘Uraal’ which is financed by Bangladesh Shishu Academy (National Academy for Children).
Shahjada is enthusiastic in learning through the practical works and trying to make his career in this field. He has directed several short fiction films and documentaries and now thinking about something new. Three of his short films, ‘Water’, ‘Ainer Dorojay’ and ‘Color of Sound’ have been screened and awarded at several international film festivals
