Aashish Rego – A profile :
One of the most renowned background music composers on the television circuit in India, he holds the dual distinction of being the only composer to have composed for Over 125 TV shows, and for over 21,000 episodes of music (arguably the maximum by any composer in the world). He has already won FIVE Indian telly awards. He holds the distinction of composing music for one of the longest running soap operas on Indian Television “Balika Vadhu” for which he was felicitated by the Jaipur International Film Festival for his contribution to Rajasthani music. His clients include the whos who of the television industry, as he adds immense value with the music he provides
He has composed and produced anthems and ad jingles for numerous awards and multinational companies.

He also composed the superhit title song for the Red Chillies film ‘ALWAYS KABHI KABHI” directed by Roshan Abbas and the background score for the same film and for “ZID” by Anubhav Sinha.

He has been felicitated with awards from IFEFA (Australia) and by the Hindi Chitrapat Sanman Samaroh for these endeavours.

He has scored the music for over 25 successful webseries for ALT BALAJI and his song “TUM HO PAAS” and “BAARISH” have become chartbusters.

His debut directorial debut was with the Music Video "I bow to thee, O mother" where for the first time even 100 renowned music composers came together to collaborate on ONE platform to celebrate the spirit of Collaboration.
