Founder and Executive Director Of the Queens Underground Film Festival, a branch of the 501c3 Organization, Queens Center Of The Arts. Based in Jamaica, Queens, NY of which she is a native resident – it’s all about “Inclusion and Giving Back”. Her career began in Corporate America segueing into entrepreneurship- a brick-and-mortar location on Merrick Blvd. and 110th some 20 years ago prior to the single parent returning to a 9 to 5 as supervisor for New York State. After graduating from college with five degrees, she entered the field of special education, rising from classroom teacher to private therapist to evaluator, supervisor and then administrator. Also serving as an Adjunct at a local college, the love of the arts and entrepreneurship never stopped calling her name and setting a new path for her.
