Jeanine Lim obtained her Bachelors Degree in Media Studies from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia, and Masters Degree in Film from Boston University, U.S.A. She has also just completed a PhD in Film at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Jeanine has 17 years of experience working in video and film production both in Singapore and the U.S. After completing her graduate studies, she worked in the technical department at IMAX Corporation in the U.S. and gained experience with large format films. She then returned to Singapore and took on a lecturing post in Singapore Polytechnic, followed by academic and administrative roles at the Singapore Management University. To date in her educational and professional endeavours, she has produced over 40 corporate and educational videos and 10 short films, which have been screened at several international film festivals. In addition to her own projects, she has also served as production crew on over 25 thesis and independent films, and mentored on countless student video projects and films.
Her latest film project is a feature documentary on Singapore identity and cinema which was produced in 2018.
