Jennida Chase earned her BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She regularly collaborates under the moniker of s/n who’ve been awarded a variety of grants, fellowships, and artist residencies. s/n has created, screened, and exhibited numerous works in various festivals, galleries, and museums. In 2022 were named researchers on the Turkish UNESCO Chair for Cultural Heritage and Digital Memory. Chase has been the director of photography for two feature films released on PBS, she lives and works in Greensboro North Carolina where she teaches filmmaking at UNC Greensboro in the Department of Media Studies.
