Writer, photographer and filmmaker, I have been working in the photography field since 2001 and Specialist in aerial photography since 2013, I began the Novelist stories writing journey at a young age.
Unfortunately, due to special circumstances, I was not able to proceed in this field. I went back to write after the age of forty and I wrote a movie novel (JOURNEY TO ETERNITY) and I turned it into a script and dialogue for a movie not produced yet.
In 2019 I announced my first short film (ALQASAM) and it was written, directed and produced by me.
In the last quarter of 2019 I started shooting my second short film (Destitute living) it was my writing and from the reality that I lived in the countryside of occupied Jerusalem and from the standpoint of humanitarian, moral, social and national responsibility towards my people and my land It was important to convey the suffering we are experiencing in Palestine to the world, and the best way for me to address the world, artistically, was through a movie.
I finished shooting it at the beginning of 2020 unfortunately, I was unable to complete post-production step except in the last month of the year 2020 for several reasons, including the Corona pandemic and the resulting circumstances such as closures and the financial distress that we have been exposed to.
The film was officially announced on January 1, 2021, which I pursued as hard as I could to complete the post production.
Unfortunately, this film was not sponsored or funded by any official or unofficial cultural institution, It was presented to obtain funding from ministries (Cultural, Aljedar), Palestinian Water Authority, Palestinian Prime Minister, Department of Water and Sanitation for Northwest Jerusalem In addition to the local and municipal councils in the seven villages of northwest Jerusalem, Bitunya Municipality in Ramallah and private institutions and businessmen in Palestine and abroad.
This work is entirely self-produced on my own expense, from preparation to post-production.
