Shahadat Sagor (Md. Shahadat Hossain) was born in 1969, 04 August at Sreenagar upazilla in Munshiganj in his grandmother’s house but he was brought up at Mirpur 6 in Dhaka. He completed S.S.C. in 1986 from Mirpur Bangla High School and H.S.C. in 1988 and Degree in 1990 from Dhaka City College. In 1992 he completed his master’s degree from Jagannath University.
He was interested in acting and photography from his childhood. He completed a photography course in 1988 from Dhaka University Studio at TSC. He joined Lok Natyadal, TSC in 1991. He performed a lot of plays with devotion and sincerity. He acted in the play Deadline Jagannath Hall, Identity, Otoppor Horen Mondol, Octopus, Kanjus, Harin bari, Bahana etc. As a backstage worker he assisted in staging many plays. During this time, he participated many acting and directorial Workshops.
In 1997, Shahadat Sagor started his directorial journey with a famous actor and director Mr. Bulbul Ahmed as assistant director. His directorial activities in television media started which is still ongoing. In 2000, his first Television fiction Grohon was tele cast. Besides direction and acting Shahadat Sagor is a screen writer. Grohon, Ashrita, Boomerang, Biya Niya Yee, Eka, Mikkel Monjil, Professional, Saloone d’Italia are his notable Tele Fiction.
He is also performing as an actor in Film industry, Television Media, OTT Platform and as a model in many TVC & OVC.
A Night in a Park – Directed & Written by Shahadat Sagor is his debut Film. He is also co-producer of this Film. His journey towards art in going on.

This is an incident that took place around 30 years ago. Dhaka city's only recognized brothel was suddenly evicted overnight. Thousands of sex workers took refuge in various parks, railway stations, abandoned deserted places or crowded roads. They maintained their day long activities like cooking, eating, sleeping, bathing etc. Even they had nowhere else to go for sanitation. These sex workers dressed themselves up in the evening and went to the park or on the side of the road in search for customers. What was hidden from the general public for a long time got suddenly exposed to the civilized people of the city. Men of different classes and ages flock to the park to hire sex workers. The parks got crowded with them. Various shops with wide range products started their business out there. Extortion started. Some people returned home satisfying their sexual desire. While some others meet their desire forcefully against their will. Some extended their support and sympathy towards them. But it didn't matter to them. None of them could come out of this primitive profession. This is how their cyclical life and livelihood continued day after day.
