Domonic Smith

Graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Earn his CASAC-T from the College of New York. (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor). Mr. Smith indulged in the music business for a short period as an aspiring writer and artist. He is the author of the book called “The True Success of An Underachiever." Mr. Smith also wrote and directed a short film called “You Have the Power for an Hour”. In addition, he is the co-creator of the podcast “Through Our Lens”. Over the past 18-plus years, Mr. Smith has been in youth development working with parents, teens, schools, politicians, and community members throughout the city of New York City. Mr. Smith operates as a preventive manager and his portfolio consists of (OASAS Drug Prevention Program, Restorative Justice, Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Programs, NDA, Neighborhood Development Area, Crime and Safety). These preventive programs service over a hundred youths and families a year. He was also the Program Director at Edenwald Community Center in the Bronx, which is the second-largest housing development in the city with over 5,000 residents. During his tenure there, he established NA (Narcotics Anonymous, and a Mentor program for high-risk youth. In his spare time, he is a youth advocate and motivational speaker to at-risk youth and young adults. Mr. Smith is the CEO and creator of "Your 2nd Chance which is a youth leadership initiative that works with high-risk youth in high schools, alternative high schools, and juvenile justice centers. Their goal is to assist youth and provide them with tools to navigate through life.
