Ronald Van Deurzen is an award-winning pianist & composer who creates ambient, cinematic and contemporary instrumental music. His pieces frequently draw inspiration from genres such classical, jazz, global fusion and progressive rock, while incorporating a modern cinematic sound.

Accolades include InterContinental Music Awards and Hollywood Music in Media Awards, as well as acclaim from various press outlets and radio stations.

With a strong foundation in piano performance, Ronald integrates VSTs (music software) and collaborates with guest musicians in his music productions. Alongside his contributions to diverse bands/albums as a pianist/organist and being able to do virtual orchestration, he also brings experience from collaborating with live orchestra, as well as teaching music and living/working abroad.

While Ronald has created the soundtrack to several film and documentary projects, he has recently ventured into producing his own music videos for his music as a (developing) editor, with the intent to facilitate common ground with directors in the festival circuit. The music video for his piece "Night Walk" was part of the official selection at the International Independent Film Awards and received a Gold Award (Winter 2024) as well as being a finalist of April '24 at the Sweden Film Awards.
