The 97th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), took place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. This year, the event was hosted by comedian and former late-night show host Conan O’Brien as a first timer. Actor Kieran Culkin win Best Actor in Supporting Role for his role as “Benji Kaplan in A Real Pain”. Best Animated Film award is fetched by “Flow”. Zoe Saldaña took home Best Actress in Supporting Role award for “Emilia Pérez”. The film also received the Best Song award for song “El Mal”. Lol Crawley won the Best Cinematography award for “The Brutalist”. Adrien Brody won the Best Actor award for “The Brutalist”. Filmmaker Sean Baker received Best Directing for “Anora”. Mikey Madison won the Best Actress for her performance in “Anora”. Amid a tight race for Best Picture “Anora” secured the most coveted title.
