A PRAKASH

Hi, I'm A PRAKASH, a filmmaker, music composer, and Co - founder of KSPK Productions, Animate Studios AV, and Darkstar Music Group based in Malaysia. I’ve been involved in the film and music industry since 2002, working with a wide range of artists and genres. I’m also a registered composer with MACP Malaysia.
In 2023, I began exploring the use of artificial intelligence in my creative process. That journey led me to create "Mogaasalai", the first 100% AI-generated Tamil music video, which I composed myself. The lyrics were written and performed by my wife, Kodthay. It was a personal and creative breakthrough that gave me the confidence to push further into AI-driven storytelling.
Following that, I released:
"En Anbe A.I" – the first Tamil love song fully generated with AI
"Selamanya A.I" – the first Malay AI-generated music video
"Intro" and "Pogathey" – experiments blending traditional techniques with AI visuals and vocals
In 2025, I wrote and directed "Dreams", the first Tamil AI short film. It tells the inspiring story of a young woman who dreams of becoming an astronaut, but her life takes a detour after marriage, until her supportive husband and in-laws encourage her to pursue her dreams. The film received positive responses for its unique blend of emotion, culture, and technology.
Most recently, I created "Raja Kumari", an AI musical short film released on Mother’s Day 2025. It's an emotional story about a little girl and the unconditional love she has for her mother, even in the face of tragedy.
My goal is to keep pushing creative boundaries with AI, telling stories that matter, and hopefully I can direct a feature film that combines heart, heritage, and high-tech innovation.

As a filmmaker, I’ve always believed that stories have the power to transcend language, culture, and time. My work is rooted in emotion, identity, and imagination and now, it’s evolving with technology. With a background in music and two decades of creative experience, I’m now focused on blending traditional filmmaking with AI-powered storytelling to craft films that are both visually striking and deeply human.

In 2025, I created “Dreams”, the first Tamil AI short film, a story about a young woman who aspires to be an astronaut and the unexpected support she finds after marriage. It’s a personal tale, but also a universal one , about ambition, love, and second chances. My latest project, “Raja Kumari”, is a short musical tribute to mothers, driven entirely by AI visuals and music, yet grounded in raw emotion.

As a director, I see AI not as a shortcut, but as an extension of the creative soul a tool to unlock new worlds, characters, and visual poetry. My goal is to make a feature film that pushes the limits of creativity, and to be recognized globally as a visionary voice in a new cinematic era.

I am not here just to make films , I’m here to tell stories that stay with people, long after the credits roll.
