Alexis Krasilovsky was born in Alaska, survived sexual assault at gunpoint, know what it’s like to be completely deaf, and has traveled to over twenty countries. After graduation from Yale and receiving an MFA at CalArts, Krasilovsky became an award-winning filmmaker and the author of “Great Adaptations: Screenwriting and Global Storytelling” (– 2nd Place Winner, 2019 International Writers Awards, as well as the novel “Sex and the Cyborg Goddess.” Krasilovsky most recent publication is “Watermelon Linguistics: New and Selected Poems,” (finalist, 2022 International Book Awards). Her 2021 poetry film, "The Parking Lot of Dreams," is a hybrid between pandemic poetry and photocollages, and has screened in over a dozen festivals worldwide.
