Biography
Paramita Chatterjee is an accomplished independent film and AD (Assistant Director) filmmaker, with a rich experience of 16 years in the Tollygunge Film & Television industry in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She holds a Master's degree in Bengali language from Calcutta University and has also pursued Journalism as an additional course. Her career began as a scriptwriter, assistant executive producer, and Director for a leading TV channel in Kolkata, following which she went on to work with all the major TV channels in the city. Eventually, she transitioned to the role of a film technician in the directorial department.
Over the years, Paramita has honed her filmmaking skills, gaining expertise in directing, production handling, and management. She has collaborated with distinguished directors, learning and growing along the way. Moreover, she possesses excellent leadership qualities, adept at working with a team of crews and actors, fostering healthy relationships with all.
