Inveterate 'artivist', Dorian Shine, originally from North Africa, has directed several short movies dealing with social topics and issues that hold a particular signification for him. Coming from drama advanced studies and career after falling, when he was 16, into the secret yet immodest world of the stage, he is now converted into a prolific feature documentaries Director and Femenino Singular is his very first baby as such. Shine also founded and directs Resist Film Festival one of the biggest loud-hailer possible to BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, environmental advocates and all underserved and marginalized communities so that they may express their too long silenced voices. His works is the extension in space and in time of arts; which is for him a vector of choice for education, consciousness and freedom.
