BiographyOrlando Giraldo is an award winning Colombian-Canadian Film and TV director, producer and screenwriter based in Toronto known for his signature filmmaking style influenced by master of cinema Akira Kurosawa, Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock among others. From a young age he as captivated by the art of the moving images. At age 13 he self taught to operate a video camera and start making family films. He never taught to make this as his career path. Later in life he rediscover his passion from film
Director Statement
To me film is an art that conveys different emotions, images, thoughts. It is an interactive journey between the viewer and the director. We build the story together. Clash is an expression of all my film influences and emotions.
