After a brief immersion in military life and a more complete experience in journalism, I join
the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art of Lille where for three years, I enriched myself in
reading the great playwrights.
When I leave, I play in Avignon « IN » : « Les Parisiens » written and directed by Pascal
Rambert, with Jean-Paul Roussillon, I interpret his son, 6 months to rub shoulders with this
immense actor, will remain an incomparable experience.
My foray into the world of cinema will be only technical, I become a grip.
I'm learning the art of traveling shot on : « Les gens normaux n’ont rien d’exceptionnel » by
Laurence Ferrera Barbossa , « Oublie moi » by Noémie Lowsky or « Portrait chinois » by
Martine Dugowson .
I'm going to Quebec to improve myself, in shooting « Le polygraphe » by Robert Lepage,
then I come back in France as key grip on « J’aimerais pas crever un dimanche » by Didier Le
Pecheur , « Ouvrez le chien » by Pierre Dugowson . On one of these films I meet a
weapons supervisor, and I become an armorer for movies.
I work on action movies where I learn a lot, « Ronin » by John Frankenheimer, « Taxi » by
Gérard Pires, « The ninth gate » by Roman Polanski…
By working with Robert De Niro or Johnny Depp, I meet their own technical advisors for
weapons and I decide to take that step, so I become one . I contact intervention teams,
police and military to improve myself.
So I can share this experience with actress and actors in the handling and safety inherent to
firearms.
I go to Germany, where there is a real demand and I work on « Straigth shooter » by
Thomas Bonn with Denis Hopper. I finally stay two years and I shoot a lot of TV show and
especially in Cologne « The clown » and the film from the saga.
I'm going back to France to work on « Nids de guêpes » by Florent Siri, « Engrenages (Spiral)
» , and « Sécurité intérieures » for Canal +. On the set, the actors and directors use to ask
me my opinion on the script.
I therefore plan to receive a five-week scriptwriting internship at CIFAP (workshop for
scriptwriters).
The same year, I meet Jimmy Laporal Trésor, scriptwriter on the teaser of « La cité rose » by
Julien Abraham, where I am a police and weapons technical advisor. He decides to write for
me the character of Jacquot , head of the police department.
With this experience, I begin to become and actor and work in « A bout portant » by Fred
Cavayé , « TV Gaucho » by Michel Leclerc , TV shows, commercials…
Acting gives me even more desire to write, and my background as a technical advisor
inspires me to restore a veracity in the fields of the police and military.
So naturally the job of scriptwriter leads me to the filmmaking of two short films KOJACQUES & LA DER DES DER
