Jon Lewis founded Mangaba Produçtions in Bahia, Brazil in 2011 and is the Writer and Director of the TV series, 'Comida aqui é Mato!', the webseries 'Desvelando Salvador' and has made a number of documentary shorts including Yemanjá - Mãe dos Pescadores, awarded Best Documentary at the Trofa International Film and Literature Festival Portugal (2014).
His fiction work includes ‘Hotel Paraíso’, awarded Best Short Film, South West London Film Festival (2018) and ‘Sarmaga’, Best Team Performance, Five Continents International Film Festival (2018). He was also a Producer on the CNN TV series, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, which won an Emmy in 2014; the Canadian series Waterfront Cities of the World, broadcast on the Discovery Channel; the feature BabySellers (2013), Reunion Pictures, directed by Nick Willing and premiered on Lifetime, and also the animation series, Pinchintún, (CNTV Chile, 2022).
