BiographyMichael is a filmmaker, multi-disciplinary artist and academic. His creative and academic interests are based around exploring how artistic creativity can represent virtual-real human experience. In his pre-academic career, and during his academic posting, he has exhibited paintings, drawings, and video art throughout Australia, in China and Japan. His screenplays have been accepted into the MIFF 37%South Market script initiative, the L.A Gateway development program and the Academy Nicholl Fellowship. He has a number of film projects in development and currently works at the Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University within the Academy of Film and Creative Technology as an Assistant Professor.
