Biography
Milorad Milatović (1996, Nikšić, Montenegro) is a film director who graduated in Film and TV Directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje.
His short films have been screened at more than 100 international film festivals and have received multiple awards. His student short Someone Else was widely selected and awarded, while his first independent short Mar premiered in 2022 and continued its festival run internationally. His latest film, The Stranger, premiered at Motovun: Cinehill in 2024 and has since been showcased at around 40 festivals, earning numerous awards.
Milatović participated in Sarajevo Talents (SFF, 2022) and Reykjavik Talent Lab (RIFF, 2025), and served as a selection committee member of the 12th Balkans Beyond Borders Film Festival. He is currently completing his master’s degree at the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb.
