Dr.NurdanTekeoğlu,producer,director,academician

Born in İstanbul in 1964. In 1988 she graduated from sociology of Bosphorus University and later made her PhD at Marmara University and worked in different national and international companies.She finished Istanbul Film Academy in 2019. While she was working as head of Metro AG in Turkey,she organized first short film competitions for the university students as social responsibility project. She felt in love with cinema and produced ORHAN TEKEOGLU’s first documentary İFAKAT after 3 years of development process. In 2013 Dr.Tekeoğlu produced I LOVED YOU SO MUCH, a feature and directed by Orhan Tekeoglu.In 2016 she produced EXTRAORDİNARY PEOPLE and RUDOLF NUREYEV: ISLAND OF HIS DREAMS with EvgeniaTirdatova, from Kinoglaz. She shooted her first film as director TORN LOVE in 2017. In 2019 she produced the documentary TIME TO LEAVE and UNTOLD STORY OF FATMA KAYACİ by Orhan Tekeoglu.SHATTERED is her first documentary she directed with Orhan Tekeoglu. She is member of EWA and Seyap as Medya Ton. She is also a full time academician at İstanbul Commerce University and giving crowdfunding workshops at the film festivals. She was also accepted to EFA,European Film Academy with reference.
