Pranab Kumar Aich

Pranab Aich is an internationally recognized documentary photographer and filmmaker from India.

Winner of the Sony World Photography Award Cannes 2009 ,Earlier his stint as a volunteer with NGOs shaped his early work.

Highlighting issues related to health, education, environment and human-rights, his work frequently features in international media and film festivals. Recently, Pranab has been selected as an invite to attend BUSAN Platform as an emerging filmmaker.

Working across the globe, he runs his production house, Studiowaala Films in his native state Odisha, to help regional stories, art and talent reach the global audience.

Some of his popular short documentaries are City's Step Child(2013), I have a Colored Dream(2014), Torch(2022), Manayun-My Wonderland (2022) etc.

He has just completed his debut feature documentary hybrid on the journey of popular Indian free educationist Nanda Prusty
