Pranab Kr Nath is an Indian actor, filmmaker, author, and social entrepreneur born on December 18, 1991, in Sabroom, Tripura. He is widely recognized as a rising cultural figure from Northeast India, with his creative work resonating across the country. Though he began his academic journey in engineering, Pranab soon discovered his passion for storytelling, which led him into the world of digital media and independent cinema. His career started with a simple college video that gained viral attention, motivating him to pursue filmmaking professionally. Over the years, he has directed and acted in a series of impactful short films such as Chhipi The Cap (2019), Hridoypora (2021), Birju Ka Neela Pani (2021), and Shiksha O Tripura (2022), which explore social issues and educational challenges in his native state. In 2024, Pranab showcased his versatility through Sesh Belay Tumi, a project he wrote, directed, produced, and acted in, solidifying his reputation as a multidimensional artist.
