Hassan Ahmed Raja is a filmmaker, writer, and educator from Pakistan. His work reflects a deep interest in human emotions, memory, and silence, often exploring how individuals find connection in moments of isolation. A distinction-holder of MA Multimedia Arts (Film Major) from the National College of Arts, Lahore, he bridges both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking with a precise and poetic approach.
Hassan’s short film Koofay won Best Short Film and Best Sound Design at the FiLUMS International Film Festival, with nominations for Best Visuals and Best Actor. His latest work, Thehre Ajnabi (2025), continues his exploration of inner conflicts and emotional stillness through minimalist storytelling and strong visual composition.
He is also the founder of The Film Tuition, an educational platform that offers short courses in filmmaking, acting, and storytelling, and the creator of The Film Tuition International Festival (TFTIF)—a platform celebrating independent voices in cinema.
