Initially, he ventured into advertising and documentary filmmaking, showcasing his talents as a storyboard artist before transitioning to create short films and full-length features.
In 2018, Ahmed Sabbir made his mark with his debut short film titled "The Rain is Forecast," garnering international acclaim as a filmmaker. This exceptional work was officially selected in multiple international film festivals and achieved the esteemed position of a finalist in the prestigious Las Vegas International Film Convention of 2019.
His exploration into the realm of full-length feature films began with the groundbreaking "AlatChakra," the first-ever 3D Bengali Cinema, followed by "Nakshi Kathar Jamin," and more. Ahmed Sabbir diversified his creative pursuits and ventured into writing with his debut book "Naila Nayem The Queen of Controversy Part-1," published in 2020. This biographical work delves into the life events of the renowned Bangladeshi Model and Actress, Naila Nayem.
Among his notable works is his second short film, "He She or Them," which addresses the sensitive issue of gender-based violence, showcasing his commitment to addressing societal concerns through his art.
Currently, Ahmed Sabbir is taking on an ambitious project, authoring and planning to direct a 3D Full-length feature film titled "Komolibala Devi." This upcoming film centers around a historical event from undivided Bengal, while also highlighting the theme of women's empowerment during that era.
