My name is Serunjogi Siraje, a Ugandan filmmaker, screenwriter, director, cinematographer, author, and film scholar with over 15 years of experience in the creative industry. I hold a First-Class Degree in Visual Communication (Electronic Media) from Bharathiar University, India, and have also earned certifications in film and media studies from world-renowned institutions such as the University of London, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, the State University of New York, and the University of South Wales. Over the years, I have written more than 200 scripts and directed films including The Pandemic, The Visit, The Concubine, The House Girl, and Blind Lover. My works have been recognized at festivals across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, winning awards and official selections such as the Golden Lion International Film Festival, Griffix Film Awards, Tlanchana Fest, and the Kaduna International Film Festival.
