BiographyArab Canadian award-winning director with over 15 years of experience in documentary filmmaking. Her film Rough Cut won Best ShortFilm at the Artivist Film Festival in Hollywood and the Audience Award at the New Orleans Middle East Film Festival (2010). In 2016, she was honored by the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and received international recognition for her film Returnees at the Khrebka Documentary International Film Festival in Morocco. In 2015, she was awarded for her role as a directing trainer during the Capital of Islamic Culture celebrations in Nazwa, Oman. Her film “I Am Arab Canadian” has been selected in November, 2025 as a Nominee at the prestigious AFAQ International Film Festival in Germany. Saadeh has served as a head jury at numerous prestigious international film festivals. She is a journalist specializing in film critique for two decades.
